He felt the frustration accumulate within. It began
in his gut, creeping outward into his arms and legs.
He had been programmed, since birth, to be reliant on
their existence. He could hardly admit the idea to himself,
let alone put it into words.
Slavery is a necessity. To those above the influence,
a life where everyone is the same is boring and without
purpose. There is unfortunate truth to this statement.
Due to the inherent imperfection and endless necessity
existent in every mind, a life in which every being was
given what it wants would soon spiral into absolute oblivion.
Therefore, it has become human nature to entrust our
freedom in the hands of others, in hopes of prolonging
our existence as a species. It is for this reason that
beings are often denied what they want. Yet the ability
to deny others wants has too often led those who are
in control to deny necessities in order to sustain unlimited
desires. They are black holes, vampires without self
control. We will never stop them in entirety just as
they will never defeat us. The fight merely ensures that
neither side gets out of hand in the everlasting strive
towards equilibrium.
Our situation has fallen out of hand. Under a guise
of ignorance, we have been misused, abused, and denied;
often without our knowledge. We are forever condemned
to the fate of Maya’s caged bird. We are to become
the caged bird’s song.
The anger, the hate, their gateway, still present in
his system; he felt helpless. Nonetheless, he found comfort
in the small step forward that he had just made. Although
only a vague portrayal, he understood what he was fighting.
