They would use his message against him; against us.
They always used our message against us. Not only slowing
our progress, but cleverly breeding a nearly paralyzing
paranoia within our cause. He was no stranger to this
mistrust. The fear of their manipulative nature had,
at times, estranged him from external communication.
There were points where this mistrust began to enter
his mind. He began to lose faith in himself, to rely
on others, some trustworthy and some not, to maintain
his sanity. Upon his realization, this paranoia nearly
prevented his flame from burning. Ironically, he found
purpose in the fear.
