He felt the frustration accumulate within. It began in his gut, creeping outward into his arms and legs. He had been programmed, since birth, to be reliant on their existence. He could hardly admit the idea to himself, let alone put it into words.

Slavery is a necessity. To those above the influence, a life where everyone is the same is boring and without purpose. There is unfortunate truth to this statement. Due to the inherent imperfection and endless necessity existent in every mind, a life in which every being was given what it wants would soon spiral into absolute oblivion. Therefore, it has become human nature to entrust our freedom in the hands of others, in hopes of prolonging our existence as a species. It is for this reason that beings are often denied what they want. Yet the ability to deny others wants has too often led those who are in control to deny necessities in order to sustain unlimited desires. They are black holes, vampires without self control. We will never stop them in entirety just as they will never defeat us. The fight merely ensures that neither side gets out of hand in the everlasting strive towards equilibrium.

Our situation has fallen out of hand. Under a guise of ignorance, we have been misused, abused, and denied; often without our knowledge. We are forever condemned to the fate of Maya’s caged bird. We are to become the caged bird’s song.

The anger, the hate, their gateway, still present in his system; he felt helpless. Nonetheless, he found comfort in the small step forward that he had just made. Although only a vague portrayal, he understood what he was fighting.
