The truth we seek is infinite. The light at the end of the tunnel will only reveal another abyss. We will construct a stairway with heaven in mind, only to find another level to climb.

Why engage in the paradox of striving for an unreachable goal? Because with each step forward we gain further understanding, another edge, a new flank to wage battle upon. Each step forward yields progression, progression yields hope, hope is freedom.
