At which point we are presented with a choice:

The first step into the unknown checks for solid ground, from this position, you can further your stance or retract in search of another option. Failure to consider the implications of our decisions will result in leaps of blind faith, and ultimately your demise.
Hesitation is an internal result of an external catalyst trying to contain your potential. The second guess is an attempt to see two steps into the future creating a duplicity that can quickly spiral into a void of indecision. To ignore instinct is to dismount the vehicle that has carried you this far.

Although we are tempted to quickly disregard one option for the other, a third variable is present among the polarities.
